Dear Friends and Supporters of Path to Success,
Today with generous donations and sponsorships from our ‘10 Years Anniversary Gala Celebrations’ in a Grand West End Musical Rhapsody and the ‘Wheelchair Basketball Challenge 2017’ supporting “Path to Tokyo 2020”, we managed to raise a significant amount £131,815. Our supporters’ philanthropy has gone a long way in raising awareness about disability sports and shortage of resources in the community where Path to Success can step in and support families and individuals in aid of ‘Action for Kids’ and ‘London Titans Wheelchair Basketball Club’.
Path to Success Achievements:

Has won gold, silver cups in the last few years. Future for the two youngsters is amazing
Path to Success has covered the expenses for London Titans to take part for the first time in 2016/2017 European Challenge Cup. They took the third ranking. With your backing, this will be a yearly event for the Club.
Path to Success provided 9 children and young adults of ‘Action for Kids’ with specialised wheelchairs, costing a total of £39,310. This is Dan’s story (one of the several children we are supporting) He is 16 and was born with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, which will slowly cause his muscles to fatally weaken. Dan told us: “I’ve outgrown my old sit-to-stand chair and I spend all day in it getting sore. I need the right wheelchair to help my circulation and posture and have the support for my legs and back as I have a slight curve in my spine. A new wheelchair would make me more confident and I’d be able to get through everywhere easier and not worry that I’m going to hit into things.” The wheelchair that Dan needs is a Jive stand up powered chair. The cost is £20,000 once it has been customised for Dan's specific needs. Dan and children like him, live across England, some have been waiting for 36 months to find a donor willing to help.
Our second Annual Dinner and Fundraising Gala will be held on 5th October 2017 at Chelsea Harbour Hotel, London. From the West End Rhapsody Musical, our amazing entertainment team “Incognito Artists” will be taking us to a journey to “The Magic of Childhood”. Dress as your childhood favorite character and enjoy the musical evening with a very special guest star “Emily Carey” who recently acted in the newly Hollywood release of “Wonder Woman” as the young Diana.
I am reaching out to you for support on this event, “to help individuals like Dan, Christy and Sophie to overcome their challenges in life and turn inability into ability.” With your generous donations and funds raised on this evening, Path to Success will aid London Titans players on their Path to Tokyo 2020, a life time opportunity chance for the talented athletes to represent GB in the Paralympics. We are determined to give children like Dan a positive life changing possibility, independence, mobility and a chance to live life to its fullest.
