Maddie is one of the youngest and newest athletes in PTS's appeal -Empowering Female athletes in Disability Sport - after fundraising Gala in October 2019.

Maddie was inspired to take up the sport after watching the GB Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Team compete at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. Unfortunately, it took her three years to start training. The sport has given her Self-confidence, maturity, desire, passion and drive to achieve at the very highest level.

She is currently ranked between 16-20 in the UK but wants to achieve the top 12 (Sr GB Women’s Squad) and take part in Tokyo 2020.
