"My aspirations for the future is to represent GB in international competitions and be part of t Paralympics 2024 Paris and make history!”

Ruby is one the youngest athletes supported by Path to Success.  She was first introduced to the game by another charity in her hometown three years ago. Ruby is very passionate about her game and has achieved a lot during this short period of time.

Combining weekly training and school, Ruby is determined to improve her game and reach her ultimate success level.  Her family support has been always an important, specially her mom, Nikki. Ruby trusts and rely on her mom, not only for her day to day life but would not have been able to reach where she is today without her support and commitment.

"Tennis has giving me so much more confidence and its something I'm really passionate about and want to succeed in. My aspirations for the future is to represent GB in international competitions and get a world ranking, hopefully be part of the Team GB in Paralympics 2024 Paris and make history!”

“I say 100% try the sport, you’ll never know if you will love it or hate it until you at least give it a good go. Once you find a group you enjoy playing with, you forget you even working out, you’ll be too busy socialising and having fun. “

2019

2019 has been a great year for Ruby.  She has upped the level of her training and played her first international tournaments to gain both her junior and women’s ranking.

Next year goal is to reach a personal best ranking.
